Subscription limits
Epicly tracks usage per billing month (your limit period — the same monthly window even if you pay annually). Your plan sets the included amounts. Open Subscription in the app to see what you have left.

Two kinds of allowance

Included amounts reset each month. Add-ons never expire and stack. Add-ons only start spending after that month’s included amount is gone.
Audio sessions
Billable uploads are audio and multi-track audio. Text recaps (notes) are unlimited and never use monthly slots or Session Pack credits.
How a session is counted
- A billable session uses a slot when you create the upload (while it is processing).
- Failed processing does not keep the slot. If the run errors out, or you delete the session before the recap is complete, that monthly slot or pack credit comes back.
- Deleting a finished recap does not refund the slot. Once the session completed, it stays counted — same idea as sending an email, then deleting it from your inbox.
- Recap variants, PDFs, and browsing the wiki do not use extra session slots.
When monthly sessions reset
Your audio allowance refills at the start of each limit period (shown in-app as when limits reset). Unused monthly sessions do not roll into next month.
Session Packs
Session Packs are extra audio credits you buy once (10 sessions per pack). They are for overflow months and for backfilling old recordings.

| Packs only when monthly is out | After the monthly cap is full, the next billable audio upload spends one pack credit. If monthly is full and you have zero pack credits, you cannot upload audio until you buy a pack or wait for reset / upgrade. |
| Never expire | Leftover pack credits stay on your account across months, plan changes, and switching to Free. A new month only refills monthly slots — it does not take pack credits away. |
| Stack | Buy more anytime. Credits add up with no cap (two packs = 20 leftover, and so on). |
| Not a plan upgrade | Packs do not add campaigns, chat, Energy, or a longer session duration. Those still follow your current plan. |

Energy (AI images)
Energy is a separate meter from sessions. 1 standard AI image = 10 Energy. Chat messages still use the chat cap, not Energy.
Monthly Energy resets (unused include is gone). Energy Potions never expire and stack, and they only spend after monthly Energy is empty — the same pattern as Session Packs.

Need more included usage?
Upgrade your plan on the Subscription tab if you want a larger monthly session or Energy include. Use Session Packs or Energy Potions when you only need extra now and then, or to keep leftover credits for later.
